Emmie, the youngest of 5 children, adopted from South Korea when she was 14 months, is now 8 years old, but has endured much more in her short life than most of us ever will. She was born with several congenital heart & lung defects and DiGeorge Syndrome, which has 185 anomalies associated with it. Emmie has had 7 open heart surgeries so far, suffered cardiac arrest, strokes, and severe neurological damage. She can no longer eat or drink, requiring a G-J Tube to feed into her small intestine, which has also required many surgeries due to complications. Emmie’s single-parent household is suffering extreme financial setbacks, and your contribution would be greatly appreciated.

 

What does Emmie's fate have to do with the ultimate Elvis? Well, Elvis fans surely know that Elvis Presley never recorded "The Lord's Prayer". But Shawn Klush, winner of the Elvis Presley Enterprises first ever Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, and now officially the Top Professional Elvis Tribute Artist in the World, accompanied by the "Maestro", Mr. David Paul (guitar), did (click for song sample).
