A MILLION THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING ARTISTS

For *contributing the following songs for inclusion on one of our compilation CDs

Our gratitude goes to:

Colin, aka "Old Time Voice", is one of the best (if not THE best) "old-style" singers in the world. Retired from professional performances, Colin nowadays just wants to spend time with his family, and SING! And singing he does! With his powerful, yet mellow and soothing voice, he sings himself into the hearts of people all over the world. But Colin is not only a great artist, but also a very kind human being, having taken the time to mail to us several of his CDs from England, so that we can choose the best of his songs for inclusion in your next CD - THANK YOU, COLIN! www.youtube.com/OldTimeVoice

Shawn Klush, winner of the Elvis Presley Enterprises first ever Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, and now officially the Top Professional Elvis Tribute Artist in the World, and to the "Maestro", Mr. David Paul (guitar) for "The Lord's Prayer". (click song for sample). This remarkable performance is a pre-release version of what surely will be a hit, no question about that. Thank you, Mr. Klush, thank you, Mr. David Paul. And many thanks also to Mr. Paul's manager, Mr. Ross Allen! And yes, Mr. Klush, you do sound like Elvis, amazing! We also want to point out that this song is not available in stores for the next two months from the time of this writing (September 2007). This breathtakingly beautiful pre-release version has been given exclusively to us for distribution in support of our cause - what a gesture! shawnklush.net/

James Limborg, for “Christmas Is Here Again”. James started on drums in 3rd grade, added guitar in 5th grade and met Leroy Wolfgramm, the co-founder of the 80s multi-platinum, Grammy nominated, MCA recording artists, "The Jets", in 11th grade. Three years later James, by now a friend of the Jets, was hired to play with them during live performances. He later played for Ingrid Chavez, Princes’ ex-girlfriend. After the group dissolved, James continued to write and produce music. “Christmas Is Here Again”, written in 1989, first released in 2006 and re-recorded in October of 2007, is one of his compositions. www.JamesLimborg.com

Greg Stillwell for the "Christmas Song". Greg Stillwell was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada on March 31, 1963. At the age of 8, Greg became a huge fan of the great Al Jolson, after first hearing him sing in "Jolson Sings Again", the sequel to "The Jolson Story", and then at age 16, he discovered the music of Frank Sinatra, and became an equally huge fan of his. It was his love for those two singers that really gave him the singing bug, and he hopes to one day follow in their footsteps. Right now, Greg can be seen singing on YouTube under the name of singingkid. He hopes you'll enjoy his videos there, if you stop by, and take a look!

Carolyn Beattie for "Texan by choice", "A country song" and "Ordinary Man". Carolyn Beattie is one of the most talented stay at home moms in the United States, no doubt about it. Carolyn is quick to let everybody know that she is first and foremost wife and mother, and creating and performing music is just a hobby of hers, though a major one. Freed from the performance-requirements of professional producers, Carolyn creates songs that soothe her own soul and hopes that she touches a few others along the way. Well, she certainly touched our souls, how about yours? http://www.myspace.com/carolynbeattie

Dave Argentati for "For The War". Dave Argentati grew up during a time when a kid could ride his bike sun-up to sunset and no one worried. When Yusuf Islam was called Cat Stevens. Fun for him was spending his evenings perfecting James Taylor licks and pondering Jackson Browne lyrics. A rich heritage of great songwriters has influenced his own unique style, making smiles and tears commonplace at his concerts as he shares with passion and vulnerability his life through music. Whether he is singing about a broken relationship, new love found, or a Vietnam Vet he met on the street, listeners experience the heartfelt emotion these songs evoke. You can still find Dave riding his bike around town at sunset. But you won't find him working on James Taylor songs. He's too busy working on his own. www.daveargentati.com

Manfred Mueller for "What Miracles Can Do", a beautifully soothing song that Manfred was inspired to compose after visiting our website, and for "You're a Hero", a very powerful song he wrote together with his friend Thorsten Kampa. Check out Manfred's MySpace site and Thorsten Kampa's site  for more of Manfred or Mr. Kampa's compositions. For example Manfred's "LOVESONG (To Bob)" which is based on a poem by Maggie Brooks is simply amazing (Music by Manfred Mueller and Timon Birkhofer. Piano by Timon Birkhofer, Vocals by Manfred Mueller). Manfred's "I DO - Wedding Song for Thomas and Jessica", also on his myspace site, he performed live as a personal gift on his friend's wedding in Chicago - the rest is history! The crowd went wild and a star was born! myspace.com/manfredmueller     www.thorstenkampa.com

Gary P. Nunn for What I Like About Texas (audio)  (video) Gary P. Nunn consistently packs houses all across Texas with his loyal following and winning news fans who confess they never really liked country music, but they just love Gary P. Nunn! Often one can find big name country artists in the audience who admit they grew up listening to and being influenced by his music. He has appeared on countless programs such as Nashville Now, TNN's Texas Connection, music videos and special appearances on TNN, Austin City Limits, Texas Ranger's Baseball games (singing the National Anthem), and other appearances too numerous to mention. You can find Gary P. on the road from Austin to Dallas, Louisiana to New Mexico to Oklahoma, and at many venues in Europe... always playing good country music, and inviting the crowd to "Go Home with the Armadillo." garypnunn.com/

Don Edwards for "Streets of Laredo". Don keeps cowboy songs alive and honors the contributions of the singers of the past in his performances and recordings. Anyone who has had the pleasure to meet Don Edwards is likely from then on to follow any mention of his name with "what a nice guy." America's favorite cowboy singer is admired for his generous spirit, his knowledge of cowboy music and history, and of course for his considerable talent as a performer and composer. Don Edwards is described as "the voice of the American cowboy" in the cover story in the June, 2007 issue of Western Horseman. "Call of the Cowboy," exploring Don Edwards' interests and career, with a focus on his wide knowledge and study of the history of cowboy music. His longtime friend and frequent performing partner Waddie Mitchell contributes comments, and an excerpt from his poem, "Don," is included in the article. Willie Nelson for "Amazing Grace". Born in 1933 in the tiny Central Texas farming community of Abbott, Willie Nelson grew up in a world permeated with music: The gospel songs of the grandparents who raised him; the blues and Mexican corridas that eased the labor of the cotton fields; the country and Western Swing hits filling the airwaves from Nashville and Fort Worth...and the inner music was inside of him. Since releasing his first single in 1957, he has given birth to concept albums (his first, Yesterday¹s Wine, was recorded in 1971), gospel albums, jazz albums, movie soundtracks, myriad duet projects, Christmas albums, live albums, and an album of standards (1978's Stardust), which has become a standard in itself. Willie Nelson reached his greatest fame during the so-called "outlaw country" movement of the 1970s. Today, Nelson divides his time between the road and his beloved Pedernales recording studio/golf course in the Hill Country outside of Austin, Texas. Often asked when he plans to retire, the 67-year old Nelson invariably replies with a smile, "All I do is play music and golf--which one do you want me to give up?" biography by Plus One Media and Island/Def Jam Records. willienelson.com

Balkandji for "The Flight". Balkandji is a folk metal band from Bulgaria. They freely mix traditional Bulgarian music with hard rock and heavy metal. As Bulgarian folk music is very complex, in Balkandji songs odd time signatures and constant time signature changing are very common. They create a characteristic blend of melodies taken from the Bulgarian folklore with heavy guitars riffs. The lyrical themes are also borrowed from the Bulgarian folklore. Their lyrics are mainly about love, the loved one, magic and the love of the native land. All of the songs draw a beautiful lyrical picture that can be very touching. It's impossible to represent the spirit of the songs in a foreign language. They use the poetics and the vocal melodies and harmonies that are typical for the traditional music. Archaic words that are now rarely used are not uncommon. Besides guitars, keyboards and drums Balkandji use traditional Bulgarian instruments, such as tambura, kaval and tupan. balkandji.com

Jennifer Grassman for "At the Back of the North Wind" (Thank you, Miss Grassman, for taking the time to send a CD our way, that was very kind!). Rob E from the UK had the following to say about the Back Of The North Wind: “A collection of beautifully crafted songs encapsulating a number of themes from fantasy (the title track), blood-thirsty demons (Pretty Girls), sadness and loneliness (I Waited So Long) to missing children (Jonna). In Jennifer Grassman, Tori Amos meets Sarah McLachlan meets Kate Bush. A stunning, sometimes haunting voice accompanied by beautiful piano playing. I have played this cd a number of times and I am totally captivated by it. I can highly recommend it. I would love to hear these songs performed 'live'.

Coro San Marco (Ms. Andrea Basso) for "Oh Happy Day" and "Freedom". Coro San Marco was founded in 1995 and is composed of about 50 members who share a love for choral music. The choir has a vast repertoire of folk, classical, religious and operatic music, performed extensively at many events. One of the most recent is its participation in a 350-voice choir performing in the closing ceremony for the City of Toronto Olympic bid at Roy Thompson Hall. The choir has incorporated the Esprit Alliance Orchestra conducted by Louie Calleja.
